TKF announces the award of a contract with Van Oord for the supply of 140 km 66 kV inter array cables for Hollandse Kust Noord (HKN), located in the North Sea.

The contracted scope for TKF in HKN includes the manufacturing and delivery of 140 km of 66 kV aluminum core cables and accessories. The offshore wind park HKN is located at approximately 18 kilometers from the Dutch coast.

“We are proud to announce this contract with Van Oord. After a pleasant cooperation with Van Oord in the Windpark Fryslân project we look forward to working together and we trust to successfully complete this project”, says Alexander van der Lof, Managing Director at TKF.

“We are very satisfied with TKF as a partner for the supply of the inter array cables at the HKN project. We particularly value the partnership as sustainable mainly due to TKF’s innovative cable design. Special to mention is that the cables of TKF will be produced in the Netherlands”.
